Cate Hall , winner of the 2017 Female American Poker Award, defeated Mike Dentale on a heads-up match. Cate won $30,000 dollars that will go to a charity that she previously choosed.

Everything started on Twitter. The debate they were having ended on a heads-up match with $15,000 stacks and $75/$150 blinds. They would play best of three matches but Cate only needed two.

The match took place on the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia and was streamed on Twitch with the commentary of Doug Polk and Shaun Deeb . You may watch the videos here (first match) and here (second match).

Dan Bilzerian said that he would bet against Cate because women can’t play poker so we may think that he lost a lot of money against her.
