Poker games with friends or neighbours are part of everyday life. Even the pros participate in them and it’s probably the time when they enjoy playing poker the most. Laughter, beers, snacks… and  occasionally a beatdown. Such as the one Phil Hellmuth  got yesterday night. Of course, his idea of a neighbourhood game is a bit different from the reader’s, we imagine that very few times one finds oneself at «Joe’s»with a $100,000 stack.

Blinds for the game are worth $100/$200 and, as it often is the case, straddles were coming and going like it was nothing. SB raised, Hellmuth picked up a couple Ladies and 3betted $10,000 dollar… ok, no more spoilers, but you can imagine how it all went down in the end…

So, to sum up, Hellmuth played as he always does (to perfection, under is own standards). Think his neighbours hail from Eastern Europe?

The big question aftere all this is: Think he reacted as he always does? Did the players mock him endlessly, as we would with any good friend?
