The scientific team lead by Toumas Sandhold from the Carniege Mellon University in Pittsburgh is still celebrating after creating a poker shark that can’t be beaten by humans.

The challenge started six days ago at the Rivers Casino where four of the best heads-up players are battling against a computer designed specifically to play poker named Libratus.

For now the human team is in red numbers after 27,940 hands played, of the 120,000 that they will play, the computer is winning $50.313 dollars.

Libratus was $193,300 up but the humans improved and cut down the difference. The team must be adjusting the software to have a winning session the next time this two gladiators face each other.
