The eight week of the regular season of the Global Poker League is on the books. The Americas Conference duels were the last ones and we will have to wait to the start of the Summer Series live from Las Vegas where all the players will have the chance to face each other on a poker table.

The Brasilian Joao Bauer lose his first match against the San Francisco Rush manager Faraz Jaka but he coult turn things back and won the last two matches in only 67 hands. The Montreal Nationals remain as leaders after this match.

In the last match Olivier Busquet won two of his three matches against Tom Marchese in one of the best duels we have seen so far. The players will have one week off before traveling to Nevada to star the second phase of the series.
