Without taking into account the great events this week (LAPT Uruguay and the WPT Borgata) there were no big changes to the rankings at the Global Poker Index. The highlight,  Scott Seiver  went up the “GPI: Player Of The Year” ranking, where thanks to coming in fourth at the 25k Aria High Roller added a good amount of points which made him jump from the sixth spot to the fourth.
Thanks  to earning the 3rd spot at the same event, Tom Marchese  positioned himself as number 15, while Iván Lucá   continues to be the best Latin player of the year, holding the 12th spot. The top 5 positions remain intact.

There were no changes among the Latin players, but the name Mayu Roca  stands out  with two payouts in a visit to the Merit Series Of Poker  where Farid Jattin  also stood out. Obviously Mario “Medmar” López   also went up a lot in the Global Ranking for  GPI, courtesy of the title he got at the ME,   Estrellas Poker Tour in Barcelona .
