The 6-Max events of the sixth week of the Global Poker League were full of emotions for the Sao Paulo Mets fans who wanted the first place of the Americas Conference. However not everything went as smooth as they wanted and at the end of the day they were in the third position.

The day began with Sam Trickett defeating Anatoly Filatov who finished as runner-up. The Moscow Wolverines manager returned only to win the second match adding 12 points to his team and remain as leaders of the EuroAsia Conference.

Later Joao Bauer won the first mathc but was the first player eliminated in the second one leaving his team third of the Americas Conference. The winner of the second match was Martin Jacobson who helped the Montreal Nationals to earn the second spot just behind the New York Rounders .
