The first day of the eight week of the Global Poker League had the London Royals as the main charachters represented by the Igor Kurganov and Team PokerStars Liv Boeree . The Montreal Nationals are also gaining ground after Martin Jocobson’s win.

First Kurganov won five points anfter finishing behing Mike Leah and then Boeree added seven more points. After this, the Royals pass the Moscow Wolverines and become leaders of the EuroAsia conference.

Later the americans won the first match and remained in the second spot of the Americas conference. The Montreal Nationals kept the lead after Jacobson’s win in the second event and his third place on the first one.

Today two PokerStars players will battle when Team PokerStars Pro Randy Lew faces Bertrand Grospellier .

Then two super high roller will face each other when Sam Trickett plays against Vladimir Troyanovskiy in a duel that will define who will be the leader of the EuroAsia Conference.

The last match of the day will present the duel between Sorel Mizzi and Timothy Adams . Who will win?
