Ismael Bojang became the last ever champion of the PokerStars.it Italian Poker Tour for a €101,940 after defeating Francesco Leotta who arrived at the final table as chip leader but couldn’t close the deal leaving with a €75,690 prize.
Bojang was second in chips at the start of the day but quickly dominated the table leaving big names such as Alexander Lakhov (6° – €23,000) and Dominik Panka (5° – €30,970) to the side. Vladimir Shabalin (4° – €56,200) and Johan Guilbert (3° – €56,200) completed the final table of six.
Cate Hall became the last woman standing on the tournament but was eliminated in thirteenth place for a €7,470 prize. The event registered 775 entries generating a €751,750 prizepool shared among the first 151 places of the competition.
