French player Mohamed Samri became the champion of the third stop of the seventh season of the PokerStars.es Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event after signing a deal with Teunis Kooij Flag of Países Bajos for €353.220. The Dutch player had the lead when the deal was made so he will return home with a €372.060 prize.

The third place was for the online poker legend Chris Moorman Flag of Reino Unido who started the final day as chip leader but couldn’t hold the deal. The British player took €241.300 after loosing the lead when there were only three players remaining.

The Estrellas Poker Tour Barcelona registered a record breaking 3,477 entries for a €3,343,590 prizepool shared among the first 695 players. The tournament remains as the biggest event ever held outside of the United States.
