claimed the lead after ten levels with a stack of 133.100 chips followed by Mauro Nomura 
with 118.400.
Not everyone had a great day, two third of the field were sent to the rail incluiding some familiar names such as Jose Ignacio Barbero 
, Martin Lategui 
, Alex Komaromi , Joaquin Melogno , Horacio Chaves 
, Mario Lopez , Kamal Bittar , Nick Yunis and Amos Ben . All of them will have the chance to try again tomorrow at noon.
The only player to survive Day 1A was Yury Kerzhapkin 
who finished with a 56.800 stack. Players such as Chadi Moustapha , Shakeeb Kazemipur 
and Samuel Chartier were eliminated on the first rounds of the day at LAPT 8 Uruguay.
