The new season of the World Poker Tour is ready to kick-off next January 2 when the tournament lands in the Philippines for the first stop from January 2 to January 8. The tournament will be held at the Solaire Casino & Resort and that remembers us that Macau is no longer the place for the biggest games. Maybe that is the reason why the WPT is planning their biggest buy-in tournament: The $200,000 Super High Roller.

The tournament will be held January 3 with the organization of Poker King Club and Cali Group. The organization expects the best players to travel to the Phillipines but the participation of many asian bussinesmen is an important ingredient for this kind of tournament. If you don’t have $200,000 dollars you may wanto to join the WPT Manila Main Event, a $1,650 buy-in tournament.
