After years of travelling to each and every stage in the European Poker Tour and foundering,  Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen finally took a spade home,  the trophy with which tour winner are rewarded. The Danish player won €500 NL Hyper Turbo Bounty (night edition) at the EPT 12 Malta.

A total 155 entrants created a prize pool worth €72,850, which was divided among the best 23 players. After defeating Polish Bartosz Piesiewicz, Theo took the title and a 16,940 Euro- prize.

According to the PokerStars Blog Theo had dinner with Norwegian,  Johnny Lodden, also a member of the Team PokerStars Pro, and afterwards decided to take part in the tournament. He won it, and went straight to bed, but not before posting a message on his Facebook wall: «Only problem now is that I have to sleep with 2 covers on, since I still have goosebumps over how great I played this tourney».
