The 2016 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure kicks-off tomorrow from the Bahamas and the first day will be full of satellites to the first stop of the ninth season of the PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour. The Bahamas stop will take place from Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 with a $2,200 buy-in, a 20,000 starting stack and 50-minute blinds.

The first stop of the LAPT Bahamas took place last year with 736 players from 49 different countries. The final table was full of big names such as Jose Carlos Garcia , Martin Finger , Dimitar Danchev , Stefan Jedlicka , Mustapha Kanit and Jonathan Borenstein . Joshua Kay became the champion and took home a $367,928 prize.

This year only eight players won full packages to the Bahamas. Alex Manzano , Maria Gonzalez , Donald Duarte and Carlos Mora were some of them.
