Ankush Mandavia became champion of Event #48: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em (30-minute levels) at 2016 World Series of Poker for a golden bracelet and $548,139 dollars after defeating Daniel Strelitz who returned home with a $338,774 prize.

Big names such as Jason Mercier , Phill Hellmuth , Fabrizio Gonzalez and Mike McDonald returned for Day 2 but came short on winning the title. Mercier, who has already two bracelets this series, finished 30th for $12,563 dollars, Mizrachi finished 27th for $14,862 while McDonald finished 24th also for $14,862 dollars.

Hellmuth reached the final table but finished eight for $46,553 while the Brazilian Thiago Macedo finished fourth for $162,924 dollars.
