The World Series of Poker and Las Vegas mourn again: American player Matthew Hauge Flag of Estados Unidos, age 26, was found unconscious in his room at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino and later declared dead at Spring Valley Hospital.

Hauge, was one of those players that you could find in Las Vegas anytime there was a tournament. He would play the Main Event after winning his seat on a satellite, he even cashed at Event #54: $888 Crazy Eights 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em just a few hours before passing.

He had also advanced to Day 2 of the WPT 500 at the Aria. He finished 136th and the organization will send the $2,500 prize to his family.

The cause of death of Matt, who was a former army man, are still unknown. Rumors say that he suffered an overdose but nobody has confirmed that information. The news of his death shocked many players close to him. Some of them started a thread on 2+2 and confirmed that Matthews sold them action for the Monster Stack.
