This Monday will be remembered as an historic day on Twitch after Doug Polk established a new cashing record while live streaming on the platform. Polk finished second at Event #53: $10.000 NLH 8-Max High Roller in PokerStars.

The previous record was held by Doug himself who cashed $162,000 at PokerStars but that is history after cashing $455,000 dollars this Monday. Twitch’s Twitter account announced the event like this:

Besides, Polk decided to give away 1% of his winnings to ten players in Facebook. The first record was set by Rupert Elder who won $124,000 on WPN and Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand Grospellier who cashed $74,000 while playing cash.
