The fifth week of the Global Poker League is on the books. The fifth week of the series left us with the New York Rounders as leaders of the Americas Conference followed by the Sao Paulo Metropolitans only four points behind.

Last Thursday Thiago Nishijima defeated Tom Marchese in the heads up match and gave the Mets six points. Later Olivier Busquet defeated Marc-Andre Ladoceur on a match that everyone was expecting since week one. To finish the day, Jonathan Little defeated Kitty Kuo who stil won three points for the San Francisco Rush .

STANDINGS:

Next Thursday the Rounders will play against the Rush, the Nationals will play against the Mets and the Sunset will play against the Moneymakers.
