Last Friday two women won a 2016 World Series of Poker bracelet. First, Kristen Bicknell won Event #46: $1.500 Bounty No Limit Hold´em. This is the second time Kristen, who has studies in nutrition and describes herself as a recreational player, win a bracelet after winning the title of the 2013 Ladies Event.
Bicknell became the firsto woman to win a bracelet this summer and took home a $291,768 prize by doing so. She was later joined by Safiya Umerova who won Event #50: $1500 Shootout No-Limit Hold’em for $264,046 prize.
The event registered 1,050 entries for a $1,417,500 prizepool shared among 120 players. In this event, Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst finished tenth for a $17,255 prize.
Later that day, Shaun Deeb won his second bracelet after winning Event #49: $1.500 Stud. Shaun defeated 331 players and returned home with an extra $111,101.
